CASTING THIS SATURDAY FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC ART PROJECT

I am a fine art photographer, looking for young polysexual male, female and trans actors for my next art project and fashion portfolio.

Age range – 19-25

The project will consist of a series of vignettes performed by a revolving cast of pan/bi/kinky/queer people. There will be very little explicit sex or SM, which is a departure from most of my previous work. Nudity is permissible but not required. Each person cast will set their own boundaries and limits.

I’ll be casting this Saturday December 1 from 12 noon to 5pm in mid Manhattan, and plan to begin shooting this month. There’s no pay for the casting session (a half hour at the most), but I will pay an honorarium of $30 per day for shoot days, plus a full CD of the digital files for all images I shoot of you. I tend to shoot a lot, so you’ll have loads of photos!

You can look at some of my previous projects at www.BarbaraNitke.com.

If you are interested please send me an email with a recent snapshot, resume or something about yourself, and your contact information.

Thanks,
Barbara Nitke

Tristan Taormino, award-winning author, columnist, editor and sex educator, is the featured speaker at Barnard’s sex-positive event “Sexhibition.”

The Path to Sexual Empowerment
Sulzberger Parlor – Barnard campus
Tonight, Wed, April 25 – 8pm
FREE
What is sexual empowerment? What does it mean to be sexually empowered? Tristan reveals the pleasures and pitfalls of her journey from law school reject to sex expert—with stops along the way as editor, author, anal sex guru, Village Voice columnist, sex-positive event roducer, and feminist pornographer. She’ll explore the concept of erotic power, discuss why it is important, and share her unique recipe for how everyone can become sexually empowered.

DIRECTIONS:
Sulzberger Parlor is in Barnard Hall on Barnard’s Campus. Take the 1 to 116th Street/Columbia University (the 2 and 3 will not take to you the campus even though there is a 116th stop). Once you get out of the subway, Barnard is on the north west corner, but the entrance gates are on 117th and Broadway. Barnard Hall is the building directly in front of you once you enter the gates (“Barnard” is engraved on it). Enter Barnard Hall and take the elevators/stairs on the left to the third floor. Sulzberger Parlor is through the doors on the left (there will be a sign).

February 1, 2007 — A flamboyant con artist and his Hamptons gal pal videotaped sex romps with married lonely-hearts they met over the Internet – then blackmailed them for thousands of dollars in hush money, police said yesterday.

The scammers went by the screen names “Mr. Nice” and “Gina.” Cops identified them as Michael Largue, 44, of Franklin Square, L.I., and Shawn Payne, 34, of East Hampton, who picked their marks from the sexually explicit Web site FriendFinder.

Largue would lure an unsuspecting woman into a sexual relationship and Payne would do the same with men, police said.

Cops said they know of at least two extortion victims: an upstate woman, 47, they hit up for $51,000, and a man, 43, from Garden City.

The scheme worked well, cops say, because unlike a quickie one-night stand, the alleged blackmailers gained their victims’ personal history during pillow talk over several weeks while videotaping and photographing the sex acts.

“The victims are all upstanding individuals and respected members of their communities,” said Nassau County Police Detective Lt. Ray Cote.

Once a victim was hooked, the shakedown began. (more…)
