Crash Pad Series, Volume 2: Unlocked
Director: Shine Louise Houston
Studio: Pink and White Productions/Blowfish Video
Production Date: 2007
Cast: Shawn, Jiz Lee, Micah, Dallas, Vai, Legs, Johnny, Jake, Wilder, Michelle Aston, Julie, Cameo by Shine Louise Houston as the Voyeuristic Landlord

“Crash Pad Series, Volume 2: Unlocked” returns to the secret apartment that started it all, and this time unlocks the door to new clandestine encounters between queer gender-bending dykes for some hot fucking, pussy banging action.

It includes scenes with performers from other Pink and White productions: real-life lovers Jiz Lee and Shawn with a new playmate Micah; Johnny (Crash Pad Vol. 1: see my review) with Legs; and Jake (Superfreak: see my review) with newcomer Wilder.  Jake is just as hot as in Superfreak and this scene with Wilder will rock your jock-straps as these bois bang each other, call each other faggots and masturbate their silicone cocks.  Johnny and Legs are two femmes who get it on with some fairly authentic fisting and strap-on play.  Jiz and Shawn never get to reach their usual height of sizzling action with Micah, who submits silently to their whim.

The highlights of this film are the scenes between Dallas and Vai, and Michelle Aston and Julie.  Vai is a cute pixyish dyke who goes to study at the crash pad.  She has an excellent solo sex scene, and then Dallas enters and gets her squirting fountains of come.  Their sex is playful, giggling, fun and super wet.  Study sex at its best.

Alt-porn star Michelle Aston—recognizable in her Mohawk and half-body tattoo—is the bomb in her scene with submissive Julie.  She makes poor Julie squirm with ecstasy as she works her over in some of the hottest rough lesbian action ever to grace the screen.  At least my TV screen that is.  I love how Michelle talks dirty and dominates Julie all scene while Julie can only moan, come and beg her not to stop.

It’s hard to compete with Crash Pad Vol. 1 for authentic performances, raw intensity and the chemistry between the players.  However, Unlocked continues to push the boundaries and exceed expectations of porn for pussies by featuring some wicked hardcore, real lesbian action that is sure to make you cream your jeans or give your dildo a woody.  Get in while the door is still unlocked, as they are sure to throw away the key.

Lesbian Life: Real Sex San Francisco
Director: Madison Young
Studio: Abigail Productions / Lesbian Life Productions
Distributed by: Girlfriends Films
Release Date: 2008
Cast: Madison Young, Lorelei Lee, Shawn, Carson, Jiz Lee & Dylan Ryan

Madison Young is an amazing young woman. Not only is she a bondage model who runs her own companies Madison Bound and Tied4Sex, she is an outspoken queer feminist, a writer, an artist and is the Co-Founder and Film Curator of Femina Potens, a San Francisco non-profit art gallery and performance space whose mission is to bring greater visibility to women, trans, erotic, and queer artists. Madison Young also writes and directs her own films for DVD under the production labels Abigail Productions, Lesbian Life Productions and Madison Bound, with distribution under Girlfriend Films.

I was lucky enough to receive two review copies of Madison’s latest films: Lesbian Life: Real Sex San Francisco and Perversions of Lesbian Life, Vol. 1, the second of which I will review next week at Pop My Cherry.

Lesbian Life: Real Sex San Francisco has a great concept. Madison Young plays a writer for a “hip lesbian magazine and her monthly article is your guide to what is the next ‘it’”. Kind of the same premise as Sex in the City, minus the fluff and with a sexy, queer lesbian slant. Oh, and real sex in the city, not just girls trying to find boyfriends to complete their miserable lives or locking themselves away with vibrators cause they have no sex life anyway. This is real sex, real women, and real hot. According to Madison, “San Francisco is known for being a hot bed for lesbian and gay culture… city of lust, love and random sexual encounters that lead to explosive orgasms.” I’m so there!

Lesbian Life features performances from some of my favorite queer, gender-bending dykes: Jiz Lee, Shawn and Dylan Ryan. I have watched their sexcapades in Pink and White Productions films by director Shine Louise Houston (Crash Pad, Superfreak) and have become a big fan of their work. Of course, they don’t make it look like work at all. The film features four scenes in various dyke hang-outs around the Bay area: a public park, a bike mechanic shop, a tattoo parlor and a lesbian cafe.

Dolores Park: Jiz Lee and Lorelei Lee

The scene begins with cutely Jiz Lee swinging on the monkey bars and hanging up-side-down, a big cat-whose-about-to-eat-the-bird grin on her face. According to Madison’s voice-over, Dolores Park is “the local ‘Dyke Park’–the perfect place to take a girl… impress her with your monkey bar skills, picnic under Palm trees, and read love poetry by Rilke.” Cut to Jiz eating strawberries and feeding them to Lorelei Lee. It doesn’t take long for these girls to get their mojo on, despite worries of being caught having sex in public. Jiz and Lorelei are both excellent performers and get down to getting each other off. My only complaint with this scene is the sound quality. Music plays throughout the entire scene and you can’t hear the nuances of the sex: the muffled moans and juicy sex sounds are non-existent. The music also doesn’t really match the outdoor atmosphere, or the jive of the performers. I found the music distracting and it removed me from the performances, so therefore, despite how hot this scene could have been, I couldn’t get into it because of that. Luckily, this is not the case with the rest of the film.

Charlie’s Place: Lorelei Lee and Shawn

Now, this is a place I’d like to hang out. Charlie’s Place is a greasy bike mechanic shop and Shawn is the resident grease monkey. Lorelei’s car has broken down outside the shop and Shawn gallantly comes to her assistance. Not to fix her car, however, but to fix her libido. The scene starts out with a bang right away and Shawn tops Lorelei, pushing her up against a workbench. It’s not long before Shawn has Lorelei worked into a crazy frenzy and then plops her down on the floor to really give it to her good. By the end of it Lorelei is dizzy with orgasm and Shawn is covered in a sheen of sweat, muscles and wicked tattoo body work gleaming. Shawn lies back in a chair and allows Lorelei to eat and frig her to orgasm. The tempo of this scene never lets up until the last squirt and the performers’ chemistry is dynamic. If you haven’t gotten off by this scene, you will by the next.

Black and Blue Tattoo Shop: Shawn and Carson

Shawn has a broken heart and goes to get inked to commemorate it. Carson is a tough femme with a mini skirt and army boots. Where did they find this girl, she is so sexy! Obviously, Shawn thinks so too, for no sooner does Carson get gloved up, then the action takes off. In the spirit of the previous scene, the tempo is fast and furious, the chemistry incredible and the sex is orgasmic. Shawn finally ejaculates on the drawing of the tattoo, deciding after all that sex was a better fix for a broken heart. I watched this scene several times and came every time. Wicked!

Ritual Cafe: Jiz Lee and Dyan Ryan

Jiz and Dylan are online, having cyber-sex with each other, when they decide to meet in person and the local lesbian hang-out Ritual Cafe. Once they meet, Dylan suggests “my place” and off they go. Jiz conceals a strap-on under her jeans and is soon banging away on Dylan, but not before Dylan gives some great head on her silicone cock. This is followed by some great, furious fisting action by Jiz that leaves Dylan squirming and moaning wildly. After a series of multiple orgasms, Dylan pulls out a glass dildo and Jiz continues to pummel her. How many times does Dylan orgasm? I lost count. What a crazy orgasmatron she is! Dylan finishes the scene topping Jiz and pay back is bliss.

This film is outrageously hot with authentic sex scenes by real lesbians and dykes who like to fuck hard and nasty. Great chemistry between all the performers as well as hot fisting, strap-on, squirting and cunninglingus action, make this film a must see for real lesbians who want to get hot and bothered with real dyke porn. The filmmaking is beautiful, excellent camera shots and angles at sexy locations. I am very excited about reviewing Perversions of Lesbian Life, Vol. 1 and seeing more of Madison’s films. She is certainly a talented director and one to watch! The only disappointment about the film is that Madison is not in it long and she doesn’t have sex in it, but just teases us in her hot little dress. Oh, did I mention she is way hot?

. . .What does this have to do with the ban against child pornography? As the above mentioned website suggests, the ban does not at all say, “Do not harm children and teenagers under 18 since they are too fragile!” Instead, it promises, “Let us make a deal and pretend that we are good people who care about children, and in return you are allowed to degrade and be violent towards women over 18 in any way you like!” Is this not why child pornography is elevated as the ultimate crime in the Western culture today: because we want to continue degrading women, but we disturbingly need to continue to pretend to be an innocent nation with this flimsy, almost religious number of 18?

. . . The ban against child pornography has always been a very suspicious one, but it is almost a sacred taboo today that very few dare to question it. Of course, it may be structurally impossible to live in a society without taboo, as Freud was already well aware. But when we feel better about seeing a 21-year-old getting force-penetrated by six dicks in a double-anal, double-vaginal, and double-oral scene (not to mention the bukkake and forced semen-swallow afterwards) than a 15-year-old having sex lovingly with her partner, we clearly have something wrong in our sexual libertinism. Perhaps we are censoring the wrong things for the wrong reasons.

Erika Lust’s latest film The Barcelona Sex Project is a documentary-style erotic movie that aims to enlighten as well as arouse. The film features three men and three women talking about their hobbies, their work, their passions and their sex lives, after which they masturbate on camera.

I thought it was a wonderfully engaging movie, one that was both interesting and sexy. My review of the film is appearing at For The Girls on Thursday.

I was a huge fan of her first film Five Hot Stories for Her. I think Erika is one of the leading lights of women’s erotica so I’m pleased to offer this short-but-exclusive interview with filmmaker Erika Lust about the film.

Seventy people have been arrested in Australia in a nationwide operation to crack down on the use of images of child sex abuse posted on the internet.

The arrests, which include a policeman and several teachers, followed a six month investigation by police into paedophile communities online.

The probe was launched after 95 explicit pictures were posted by a hacker on a respected European website.

Over 76 hours, the site had 12 million hits from 150,000 users in 170 nations.

More than 2,800 internet protocol (IP) addresses were traced back to Australia and then identified by police.

The first arrests were made in cases where young people might be at risk and four children had been taken from their homes, investigators said.

swingers How “Swingers” Might Save Hollywood from a Federal Pornography Statute (Pocket Part; Yale Law Journal)

by Alan R. Levy, April 28, 2008
[View as PDF]

Section 2257 of title 18 of the U.S. Code requires that “producers” of photographs and films of “actual sexually explicit conduct” create and maintain records documenting the age of the performers depicted in those performances. The statute’s purpose is to ensure that the performers are not minors. This recordkeeping statute has generally been limited to the adult film industry, although recently the statute’s impact has crept into the realm of mainstream film and television. For over two decades, the statute has withstood numerous constitutional challenges by the adult film industry and civil libertarian organizations. On October 23, 2007, however, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held that § 2257 was overbroad on its face and therefore unconstitutional.

Although the Sixth Circuit has since vacated the Connection III decision to rehear the case en banc, this decision marks the first time that a federal appeals court has struck down the recordkeeping statute on constitutional grounds. Ironically, the victorious plaintiff was not the adult film industry or a civil liberties organization but rather a non-commercial “swingers” publication in which married couples published explicit photographs of themselves to seek out other married couples for sexual relationships. While the court protected the constitutional rights of swingers, this decision will also impact the speech rights of both the adult film industry and the mainstream entertainment industry. Even though the full Sixth Circuit decision will replace that of the appellate panel, the reasoning in the earlier decision will lay out the framework for the arguments in this case and future challenges to the statute.

Audacia Ray’s column for Hot Movies for Her appears the first Monday of every month.

The idea of pornographers with ethics and strong political convictions seems ridiculous to many people. After all, isn’t porn just about overly-tanned hedonism, driven by the desire to make a mint while surrounded by swarms of hot chicks who wouldn’t otherwise give you (assuming the portly, fiftyish male “you”) the time of day? Not so fast, assumption-maker.

[snip]

Amateur and independent porn began getting buzz with the advent of the home video camera and the newly glorious ability it bestowed on the average electronics geek to film his or her pasty white ass bobbing up and down in a poorly lit guest bedroom in New Jersey (not to stereotype or anything). But it really took off in the early 2000s as the Internet began to emerge as the go-to place for sex businesses, especially homemade ones. More specifically, young, technologically inclined idealists began to turn to the Internet to create their visions of sex-positive culture online.

When the oft-cited Suicide Girls was launched in 2001, it positioned itself as a site of female-empowerment via Internet nudity. In subsequent years, this turned out to be a bit more complicated and maybe not really the way things were running behind the scenes. Still, there are independent pornographers whose hope for the empowering mojo of independent porn springs eternal. The Sharing is Sexy (SiS) collective is one such group – their freshly hatched and totally free website launched just last week. Unlike Furry Girl, the SiS folks have no intention of making a living from their work on the site. In fact, as collective member lotu5 puts it, “SiS came out of anti-capitalist activism. …all our content is free, we try to spend as little as possible, dumpster what we can, leech resources from universities and jobs and make everything free.” At the same time, lotu5 says that, “One of our primary goals is to not discredit sex workers and ‘for pay’ porn sites.”

Susannah Breslin writes:

Portfolio has an interesting article on the rise of YouTube and what it means to the adult movie industry, “Obscene Losses,” by Claire Hoffman, who previously wrote about being threatened by Joe Francis for the LA Times. The story focuses on YouPorn, the adult video sharing site where porn that wants to be free can be, and the challenge YouPorn and its cousins, like PornoTube, present to the adult movie industry’s increasingly thwarted efforts to turn a profit in an era in which free online porn is everywhere. There are plenty of interesting facts and stats–according to the piece, YouPorn is the number one adult site in the world–and it follows Hoffman’s hunt to find the man behind the dot-com that’s giving Porn Valley a run for its mone.

Look, everyone, it’s a bunch of new 2257 regulations! For those of you who may not be aware, the 2257 rules are a bunch of federal regulations about the production and sale of adult, that is, pornographic content.

This latest batch features some clarification on what “date of production” really means, what form your recordkeeping has to take (paper), and exactly where on a commercial adult website you’ve got to post your producer information and compliance statement (everywhere). I’ll have a post up on A Savage Place about this in more detail by Monday, but in the meantime, this AVN article gives a good quick summary, by someone far more qualified than I am.

The Internet was supposed to be a tremendous boon for the pornography industry, creating a global market of images and videos accessible from the privacy of a home computer. For a time, it worked, with wider distribution and social acceptance driving a steady increase in sales.

But now the established pornography business is in decline – and the Internet is being held responsible.

The online availability of copious free or low-cost photos and videos has begun to take a fierce toll on sales of X-rated DVDs. Inexpensive digital technology has paved the way for aspiring amateur pornographers, who are flooding the market, while everyone in the industry is giving away more material to lure paying customers.

And unlike consumers looking for music and other media, viewers of pornography do not seem to mind giving up brand-name producers and performers for anonymous ones, or a well-lighted movie set for a ratty couch at an amateur videographer’s house.

After years of essentially steady increases, sales and rentals of pornographic videos were $3.62 billion in 2006, down from $4.28 billion in 2005, according to estimates by AVN, an industry trade publication. If the situation does not change, the overall $13 billion sex-related entertainment market may shrink this year, said Paul Fishbein, president of AVN Media Network, the magazine’s publisher. The industry’s online revenue is substantial but is not growing quickly enough to make up for the drop in video income.

Older companies in the industry are responding with better production values and more sophisticated Web offerings. But to their chagrin, making and distributing pornography has become a lot easier.

“People are making movies in their houses and dragging and dropping them” onto free Web sites, said Harvey Kaplan, a former maker of pornographic movies and now chief executive of GoGoBill.com, which processes payments for pornographic Web sites. “It’s killing the marketplace.”

story.gross Porn & Pancakes Fights X Rated Addictions (CNN)

Anti-Porn Hottie Craig Gross

MORTON, Illinois (CNN) — At 8 o’clock on a recent Saturday morning, more than 250 men gathered at New Life Christian Church in Morton, Illinois, for a breakfast of porn and pancakes.

The event, not as titillating as it sounds, is the brainchild of Craig Gross, founder of the online Christian ministry, XXXChurch.com. Gross concocted the idea of “Porn & Pancakes” as a way to get Christians and church officials to talk about pornography addiction.

It’s a problem, he said, that is growing, among Christian communities.

Over the smell of maple syrup and sausage, Gross and other guest speakers — including a former producer of pornography — talk to the men about how pornography negatively affects their lives, including relationships with their families and with God. The men who come to hear them speak want to make sure they don’t develop a problem themselves.

“A lot of people think Christians sure don’t struggle with this,” Gross said. “The stats don’t lie: Christians are consuming pornography. And to me, it’s not a surprise.”

A nonscientific poll on XXXChurch.com found that 70 percent of Christians admitted to struggling with porn in their daily lives. Church officials are not immune either. According to Gross, some 76 percent of pastors he surveyed said they, too, have a problem. Gross says he’s not surprised so many Christians find themselves struggling with addictions to pornography, considering just how mainstream and easily accessible it has become.

Adult entertainment is an enormous business in the United States, taking in an estimated $12 billion annually. Every second, approximately 28,258 Internet users are viewing pornography, according to the Internet Filter Review. With some 4.2 million pornographic Web sites to explore, many Christians find themselves unable to turn away.

From the blog Classically Liberal:

Below is an interesting press release from the University of Leeds. A new Ph.D. thesis by Jenny Skipp “examined, catalogued and categorised every known erotic text in eighteenth-century Britain.” Ms. Skipp was rather surprised to discover how vast a quantity of pornography was circulating in England at that time.

Not only was there a huge amount of it but it was far more widely available and consumed than previously known. As the University press release notes, “much of this work was cheap and widely available.” It was not restricted to just the upper classes as was widely assumed in the past (an assumption I myself have held erroneously before as well).
vintage erotic photo1 Sex, Reality, and the State (Via Clasically Liberal)
I find this interesting because the more fields I study the more I am convinced that the the bulk of Westerners (Americans in particular but not exclusively) have been rather wrong about many assumptions regarding sexuality. It is a myth of a gigantic proportions to assume that past Western generations were generally chaste and somewhat puritanical. That has never been the case. Even in Puritanical Massachusetts, under the Pilgrim, there was widespread debauchery. Enough to make the local bishop blush especially when he wasn’t directly involved.

Fundamentalist Christians, who in reality are very guilt ridden about sex and very anti-sexual (despite protestations to the contrary), have claimed that their view of sexuality was the dominant one and that in the 1960s evil “liberals” came along with the “sexual revolution” and introduced “Godless immorality” to the West. Having grown up with those people, and attending their schools, one thing I quickly realized is that if you were to assume the opposite of everything they say you have a very high chance of being right. They bamboozle themselves and others.

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (AP) — A federal judge on Thursday dealt another blow to government efforts to control Internet pornography, striking down a 1998 U.S. law that makes it a crime for commercial Web site operators to let children access “harmful” material.

In the ruling, the judge said parents can protect their children through software filters and other less restrictive means that do not limit the rights of others to free speech.

“Perhaps we do the minors of this country harm if (free speech) protections, which they will with age inherit fully, are chipped away in the name of their protection,” wrote Senior U.S. District Judge Lowell Reed Jr., who presided over a four-week trial last fall.

The law would have criminalized Web sites that allow children to access material deemed “harmful to minors” by “contemporary community standards.” The sites would have been expected to require a credit card number or other proof of age. Penalties included a $50,000 fine and up to six months in prison.

Sexual health sites, the online magazine Salon.com and other Web sites backed by the American Civil Liberties Union challenged the law. They argued that the Child Online Protection Act was unconstitutionally vague and would have had a chilling effect on speech.

The U.S. Supreme Court upheld a temporary injunction in 2004 on grounds the law was likely to be struck down and was perhaps outdated.

Technology experts said parents now have more serious concerns than Web sites with pornography. For instance, the threat of online predators has caused worries among parents whose children use social-networking sites such as News Corp.’s MySpace.

TORONTO (CP) – It’s tea time at a downtown hotel and the afternoon sunlight casts an amber hue on an unlikely sight – porn star Ron Jeremy perched on an opulent antique chair, ready to tuck into a plate of scones and raspberry preserves while sipping on a cup of Darjeeling tea.

“Scones! I haven’t had scones in years!” Jeremy, dressed in baggy black pants and T-shirt, exclaims as he slathers his helping with jam and clotted cream at the elegant Windsor Arms Hotel.

The handful of mostly grey-haired patrons quietly enjoying dainty finger sandwiches looks on in utter disbelief as Jeremy, his cellphone frequently ringing at an ear-splitting volume, talks a mile a minute for a full hour – all the while discussing dildos, his ability to fellate himself and what he likes best in a lover. For the record, it’s “a pulse.”
