The 32st Annual Leather Pride Night roars into The Eagle NYC, June 21st, 2014 with LPNXXXI: The Bear Essentials! You’re not going to want to miss this fierce and friendly celebration of New York’s fetish friends and families, as we join together to tear the house down and raise money for some amazing community partners!
Join us from 6 PM to 10 PM with a collection of performances by burlesque and fetish world favorites, raffles, prizes and fantastic surprises all for the benefit of New Alternatives and Cycle for the Cause’s Team Eagle.

The fabulous and inimitable Kate Bornstein (author of A Queer and Pleasant Danger, Hello, Cruel World: 101 Alternatives to Suicide for Teens, Freaks, and Other Outlaws, Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women, and the Rest of Us, and My Gender Workbook) has been fighting cancer and needs our help! Cancer is hard work and medical expenses are astronomical. So let’s get together, raise some funds, and give each other life! With performances by Justin Vivian Bond, Mike Daisey, Amber Martin Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales, Carla Rhodes, Glitta Supernova and the cast of Gertrude Stein Saints! Emceed by Murray Hill and DJ Sveta! VIP Tickets and Superstar Tickets include an exclusive preshow champagne party and reserved preferred seating. Superstar tickets are a front row table for eight.

This was at the Walter Reade in NY, but was sold out by the time I heard about it. It’ll be shown on HBO on June 23rd.
For nearly four years and many quarrels, my partner and I have connected with love. A thousand times we argue and then nine hundred and ninety nine times we make up. In any other circumstances a hundred arguments would end the relationship, ours is connected through rope. Through Kinbaku our love and romance binds our hearts and deepens our connection over time.

ABOUT Norio Sugiura: Born April 9th, 1942
For many years he collaborated with Mr. Dan Oniroku, the famed erotic novelist, BDSM master, kinky impresario and Kinbaku master. Then in 1974 he became a freelance photographer, shooting for many cult classic Japanse BDSM magazines and published many exceptional erotic BDSM photography collections. For over four decades, he’s worked with some of the most amazing performers, models and rope artists in Japan.
