Men, Women, Trans, Welcome!
So you’ve taken the Novice Rope Share class (or other learning facility) and are ready to move on from the basic ties to the Next Step. This workshop will delve into the next level of Shibari harnesses, bondage positions, and arm ties, as well as a more in depth discussion of the psychology of the bottom in those ties. Again, the class is tailored to your interests. Class size is kept to a small circle for friendly experimentation bondage and personal attention.
Participants must be over 18yr.
Location: Greenwich St. (btwn Rector and Carlisle; three blocks south of the WTC site). Specific building number will be emailed upon registration.

The Rope Share is a bondage workshop that is structured to fit your skill levels and interests. There is one highly skilled rope instructor and one teaching assistant. The attendance will be limited to 12 students.
This is a lab-environment setting and we will practice on one another. Please be open to both tie and be tied for the sake of education. Please wear comfortable clothing as there is no nudity during the class.
Bring Rope: 4 lengths of 25ft. rope; 2 lengths of 50ft.; and safety scissors. Cotton, nylon, hemp, and jute are all fine.

If you have not taken the Novice Rope Share class, but have learned the basics of rope elsewhere, you are welcome to join. Instructor may ask you to demonstrate your proficiency at tying basic pole-to-pole (limb to limb) ties.
Instructor’s Bios
Tyutumi is a bondage enthusiast who has been teaching rope bondage since 2003. He received advanced training in Japanese-style bondage from Midori, and continues to study with her at every opportunity. A graduate of Midori’s Advanced Dojo, Tyutumi also studied with well-known rope artists at Shibaricon. He was a member of Gay Men SM Activists (GMSMA) for many years, serving on its Program Committee and presenting a number of GMSMA programs and workshops. He is a longtime member of the New York Bondage Club and Delta International. He has presented bondage demos and classes at The Eulenspiegel Society (TES), GMSMA, Mid-Atlantic Leather (MAL), The Museum of Sex, Rope Share and Delta. Tyutumi is the founder of the Rope Dojo of New York.
Master Mike has been practicing Japanese rope bondage since 2006 and is a graduate of Tyutumi’s shibari class. His proficiency as a roper prompted an invitation to join Tyutumi’s monthly rope dojo, and he has been a valued instructor at Rope Share. He holds a certificate from Midori’s intensive Rope Bondage workshop. Master Mike completed the six-month GMSMA novices special interest group in 2006 and was an active member of GMSMA until 2009. He enjoys teaching others what he knows about rope and creating imaginative, safe bondage scenes. Master Mike’s effectiveness as a rope instructor derives from his quiet authority, precision, humor, clarity and gentleness.
