Yesterday I got an email from the producers saying that the early discount discount hotel and registration rates have been extended until Thursday, January 15.
This blog is one of the participating groups supporting this event, you can register and get $25 off the registration fee. (When registering, select “Viviane’s Sex Carnival” from the list. When asked for a membership number, just type in anything.)

Well, since you are picking at random and not picking the “best” reasons, I will just say this: I should get free tickets because everyone tells me I should go to a DO event, but actually registering it too big of a “step” into the lifestyle for me so winning free tickets would be the only way I could trick myself into going.
Hi! I’m entering your contest for DO tickets. I have never been to DO. My first BDSM event was actually this last august at floating world. Since then I’ve immersed myself in the BDSM world. I have a lead on lodging and carpooling, but no ticket. Finances are tight as they are for everyone I’m sure, but I’d love to go to this event and make even more friends and new experiences.

I would love to go to DO:WinterFire because I’ve never been, and now that I live in the more middle of the country, I’m feeling a bit alienated from the amazing, intelligent, and open-minded kinky people I was so lucky to meet out East. I’ve been having a hard time here, and I think nothing would be better than taking interesting classes, and playing with awesome people. That is all.
Ooh, very cool giveaway! This year, one of my resolutions was to attend more kink-friendly conferences so I can learn more about what’s out there, and more about kink in myself. Ellie Lumpesse originally told me that I should go to Winter Fire, and in fact, you, Vivianne, seconded the recommendation, saying that I might be more comfortable with the hotel conference atmosphere of Winter Fire over the DO Summer camp. It sounds awesome, and I really wish I could go!
Well, goodness. Dark Odyssey, Winter Fire… someone’s been trying to get me to go to that for YEARS it seems. Wouldn’t it be fun to show up this way? I’ve heard nothing but good things about it and think it’s an event I’d be very very happy to sink my teeth - and mind - into.
I have never been to DO or any other lifestyle event. I think it would be a great experience and an awesome way to start 2009 as well as my Birthday Month (Feb 26). I would be purchasing a ticket, but unfortunately i have to wait to last minute because my sister’s due date is that weekend, and I am godfather—you can call me Il Padrino lol!
