Seal Press, founded in 1976, publishes “groundbreaking books that represent the diverse voices and interests of women,” and its authors have garnered awards across genres and boundaries. McNally Robinson is proud to host three of these authors for an evening of radical women.

Helen Boyd’s memoir She’s Not the Man I Married is the follow-up to her earlier work My Husband Betty, and chronicles the emotional and political issues raised when her transgender husband decides to physically become a woman.

Audacia Ray, editor of the sex worker magazine $pread and the porn blog Fleshbot.com, continues her exploration of women’s sexuality in Naked on the Internet.

And 28-year-old feminist scholar and writer Jessica Valenti outlines why feminism matters for a younger generation of women in Full Frontal Feminism. Join us for an evening of powerful and provoking women from Seal Press.
