On the blog, the past two months have been about learning about ecommerce and tweaking the template. I’ve signed up for a bunch of affiliate accounts and putting up galleries. It’s pulling in a lot of of new visitors.

At Chelsea Girl’s invitation, I’ve signed up with Blogads to sell some advertising space on this blog. If you’re an advertiser, rates are extremely reasonable - only $10 a week, $15 for two weeks, and $20 for an entire month. We are receiving 4-6,000 visitors a day. That’s a lot of eyeballs!

The ad runs near on the top right of every page on the site, so it will be seen whether a viewer comes to the home page or links directly to an article. It takes about five minutes to set up an ad like the one you see at right — just click on the “advertise here” link, and off you go! Once I get notice of your interest and approve the ad — I reserve the right to reject any ad I deem incompatible with my values (or those of the Carnival) — you’ll see it on display.
