Why would you want to be contacted by readers? Isn’t having comments enough?
I find that having a way to be contacted is beneficial on a number of fronts.
- Firstly it gives your readers a way to privately contact you
- It gives readers a sense of power
- It’s about accountability
- It identifies problems
- It opens opportunities

Great posts – there is often info or requests I do not want the whole world to see in comments. There are plenty of blogs that don’t have comments enabled. That’s a shame, because the comments can often add an extra way to communicate, between the blog author and other readers and bloggers.

I’m heading off to In The Woods for the weekend, then stopping back by Belligham on Sunday night to visit mi Padre’s middle sister, the full time artist.
I’m excited about the weekend, if completely uncertain about what to expect.
This evening I spent a lot of time thinking about some of my more taboo desires, and its funny because some of them folks would be wierded by, and others folks would look at me like “um, was that supposed to be wierd”- but I have no interest in sharing any of them publically because those answers can fluctuate and honestly, I like some of my desires to stay in their shadowy abode.

I noticed that Technorati has added some nice new features to the profile section.
Notice the left nav bar – it lists my top tags that I link to/with.
Now look at the ‘Bloggers Using this tag’ (I was searching for sexblogs), it shows pictures of other bloggers who also use this tag. Why, there’s Sam Sugar and Shay! There’s Biker and Teacher!
